Salsa sculpt is a Moderate to High intensity workout that combines the principles of Latin dance with body sculpting exercises. Intensity and dance style varies throughout the class in order to enable to dancer to maintain the optimal heart rate for weight loss and have FUN! Tension and strengthening intervals are provided throughout the class in order to shape the core regions of the body. A percentage of the class will be dedicated to learning a dance combination that the dancer can build upon with every session. This is a very entertaining way to exercise and learn to dance Salsa and other Latin styles. Appropriate attire is comfortable attire that allows movement and sneakers (preferably dance sneakers).
Bellydance is a great way to get in tune with your body and sensuality! Learn Middle Eastern dance with a fusion flare in Daniela's classes. You will work muscle groups in the abdomen, pelvis, trunk and spine. It is a full body workout that concentrates on core strength and muscle isolation. Health benefits include; improved posture, muscle toning, increased flexibility, stress reduction and weight loss. Overall this class is about having fun and feeling great in the body your in!
Ballet sculpt is a low/moderate intensity workout that incorporates the techniques, style and music used in classical ballet. Students will perform a series of barre exercises and follow with center and floor work that will target the core and stretch body. All exercises will follow an anatomical model with a focus in safety and therapeutic execution. The final section of the class is a simple ballet combination created in order to enhance agility, elegance and grace. The recommended attire for this class is comfortable attire that enables movement and ballet shoes.
Zumba is a high-energy aerobic workout based on dance steps borrowed from merengue, salsa, and other dance styles. The allure derives in part from the perception that a Zumba workout is more like a dance party than an exercise session. It can be liberating, physically and psychologically.
